SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) is an IETF for IP telephony fundamental for signaling and control of multimedia sessions, works under a request-response model and is based on a text that uses UTF-8 encoding and ASII format, similar to HTTP, and is still responsible for starting, ending and modifying sessions without knowing their details. It makes telephone calls, allows communication by audio, text, and video, in different media and applications, the multimedia inclusion of the SIP is evolutionary, so it opens doors to the development of many areas and industry, not only in telecommunications but also in more supplied areas and seeking telecommunication adaptation.
